Mirko Hinić's late challenge caught a FC Boston Patriots's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mirko Hinić helped the player get up and apologised. After 47 minutes of play, FC Boston Patriots's Bernard Đureš made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. A well placed Boško Balaban short distance shot in the 70th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boško Balaban in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neno Đačić saved FC Podhum from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Boško Balaban's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Neno Đačić was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. If Boško Balaban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neno Đačić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boško Balaban in the 86th minute of play. The FC Boston Patriots fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when FC Boston Patriots's Boško Balaban looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
