Boško Balaban's late challenge caught a Vođinci Muraw's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boško Balaban helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd minute, Boško Balaban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dejan Grbović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Lino Kučinac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Branko Glavinić put in a rough tackle. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for FC Boston Patriots. Kruno Brajko stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Vanja Galetović. 0-1. In the 12th minute Vedran Đaković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vanja Galetović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes in the game, Dejan Grbović fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lino Kučinac having to interfere. The supporters of FC Boston Patriots booed when Vođinci Muraw was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dejan Grbović didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Vođinci Muraw defense, Boško Balaban kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vanja Galetović. The Vođinci Muraw fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vanja Galetović should have stopped the shot. 20 minutes into the match, Boško Balaban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vanja Galetović. Vođinci Muraw's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boško Balaban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 23 played minutes Vođinci Muraw got a freekick which was hit by Njegoš Jablan. After 25 minutes of play, FC Boston Patriots's Boško Balaban made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vanja Galetović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Borko Mekić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Lino Kučinac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes FC Boston Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Tomislav Plavčić. Vođinci Muraw's Marinko Kudumija got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boško Balaban kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Boško Balaban scored 0-5 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vanja Galetović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Vođinci Muraw's Borko Mekić sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lino Kučinac narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, FC Boston Patriots's Grga Tijanić got a free kick in the 46th minute. The Vođinci Muraw players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Boston Patriots were winning 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dejan Grbović to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Marinko Kudumija managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vođinci Muraw's supporters rose to their feet, but Marinko Kudumija was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Kučinac breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 53 played minutes Vođinci Muraw got a freekick which was hit by Borko Mekić. Vanja Galetović made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Đureš in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Borko Mekić in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Kučinac prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After taking down the ball on Vođinci Muraw's corner Antonio Pais fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Lino Kučinac quite easily take care of the ball. Vanja Galetović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boško Balaban in the 61st minute of play. Vanja Galetović made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Klement Horvat sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Vođinci Muraw's goal looked a bit too open when Boško Balaban came free, but Vanja Galetović reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dejan Grbović came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Vođinci Muraw fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dejan Grbović couldn't finish the play. Vanja Galetović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boško Balaban in the 73rd minute of the match. If Dejan Grbović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kruno Brajko during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes FC Boston Patriots got a freekick which was hit by Kruno Brajko. Marinko Kudumija sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. FC Boston Patriots walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
