Perica Iskra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egon Đurek went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kaštel Starix's Rikard Bićanić got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roko Udovčić in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edo Baletić, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 25th minute, Ninoslav Lajtner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alen Škorić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Perica Iskra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Egon Đurek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaštel Starix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Đurek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Egon Đurek put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Perica Iskra. In the 35th minute, Feliks Krznar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perica Iskra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After 41 minutes, Andro Ivošević mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NK KretenizaM and the Kaštel Starix players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, NK KretenizaM's Andro Ivošević got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 43 played minutes Kaštel Starix got a freekick which was hit by Egon Đurek. Feliks Krznar might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Perica Iskra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliks Krznar ran back to his position shaking his head. If Rikard Bićanić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The Kaštel Starix fans' excitement grew in the 54th match minute when Kaštel Starix's Egon Đurek looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Šandor Šuran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 62nd minute, Šandor Šuran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Egon Đurek struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Perica Iskra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaštel Starix. Perica Iskra made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Šandor Šuran sent off a good shot on target. When Alen Škorić came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Kaštel Starix fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alen Škorić couldn't finish the play. After having played for 78 minutes, Egon Đurek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kaštel Starix's supporters crossed their fingers, but Egon Đurek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, NK KretenizaM's goalkeeper Perica Iskra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Šandor Šuran. With a little luck, NK KretenizaM's Perica Iskra got control of the ball when Egon Đurek tried to sneak it across the goal line. Šandor Šuran succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 89th playminute. In the 94th minute, Egon Đurek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perica Iskra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Kaštel Starix played a much better game than NK KretenizaM and deserved their victory. The NK KretenizaM players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
