KULANA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Pihler was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zlatan Pintar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Miodrag Vrdoljak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KULANA's Ante Vukić got a free kick in the 30th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Marinci's zone, Nebojša Priselac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nenad Široka came out of the goal and Nebojša Priselac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th match minute, Marinci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mile Laušić to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Dinko Škorput from long distance, 36 minutes into the match, got Nenad Široka's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tonino Lujanac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Nenad Široka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teodor Pihler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zlatan Pintar was the one to do the kick off. After 58 minutes of play, KULANA's Teodor Pihler made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nenad Široka was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nebojša Priselac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nenad Široka having to interfere. Miodrag Vrdoljak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zlatan Pintar, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After 67 minutes, Bruno Nalis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KULANA and the Marinci players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Marinci booed when KULANA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Nalis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The KULANA fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when KULANA's Teodor Pihler looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 84th minute, Teodor Pihler left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KULANA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. A collision led to Marinci getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Jadranko Leib hit a great ball. Miodrag Vrdoljak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zlatan Pintar in the 94th minute of play. KULANA walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
