Dino Vojnović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miomir Ljubojević, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute, Vodice Naprijed's Ivo Pinjatela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 12th minute, one of Koprivnički Bregi OŠK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Koprivnički Bregi OŠK. In the 13th minute, Vodice Naprijed got a penalty, and Feliks Sušić placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. After 17 minutes of play, Koprivnički Bregi OŠK's Miomir Ljubojević made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dino Vojnović was left in no man's land by his defense there! Koprivnički Bregi OŠK's Ranko Tvrdić proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Koprivnički Bregi OŠK from getting a goal against them. In the 27th minute, Vodice Naprijed's Ivo Pinjatela dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Vodice Naprijed's Ivo Pinjatela was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 37th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Zdenko Ledić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dino Vojnović tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ivo Pinjatela came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Vodice Naprijed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ivo Pinjatela couldn't finish the play. Gustav Fertalj kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zdenko Ledić to make the kick off. After 56 played minutes Vodice Naprijed got a freekick which was hit by Slavko Penga. A hard shot 57 in the game by Miomir Ljubojević from a close distance when the talented Dino Vojnović managed to make a qualified save. Vodice Naprijed's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Miomir Ljubojević got free with Dino Vojnović in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 5-1 when Slavko Penga sped through Koprivnički Bregi OŠK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ranko Tvrdić. 71 minutes into the match, Koprivnički Bregi OŠK's goal looked a bit too open when Slavko Penga came free, but Ranko Tvrdić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vodice Naprijed's Dario Dabo pulled a muscle in his leg after 71 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Pravdan Cerovečki fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Koprivnički Bregi OŠK's protests and gave Pravdan Cerovečki a yellow card for diving instead. Ranko Tvrdić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Slavko Penga in the 74th minute of the match. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Koprivnički Bregi OŠK's goalkeeper Ranko Tvrdić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 80th match minute, Koprivnički Bregi OŠK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustav Fertalj to maneuver through the defense. Slavko Penga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ranko Tvrdić having to interfere. If Zdenko Ledić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the game, Koprivnički Bregi OŠK's Zdenko Ledić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dino Vojnović made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. 96 minutes into the match, Gustav Fertalj notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Vodice Naprijed's Dino Vojnović. Dino Vojnović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
