Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Miha Rustemović made the kick off and thus started the match. Želimir Plečko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miha Rustemović in the 4th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dejan Ivelić got free with Želimir Plečko in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 15 minutes, Miha Rustemović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gubaševo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Miha Rustemović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 22 played minutes, Ozalj's Nikola Dražić shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vjekoslav Čukman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ozalj reached it. After 31 played minutes Ozalj got a freekick which was hit by Tomica Pintar. Dejan Ivelić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Želimir Plečko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Dejan Ivelić in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Želimir Plečko, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gubaševo's Vjekoslav Čukman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomica Pintar in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomica Pintar in the 39th minute of play forced Gubaševo's goalkeeper Vjekoslav Čukman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gubaševo's Miha Rustemović got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Branislav Tišma hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 47 played minutes Ozalj got a freekick which was hit by Branislav Tišma. Tonko Prešnjak, 48 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tomica Pintar made a kick off. Dejan Ivelić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Želimir Plečko having to interfere. If Miha Rustemović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miha Rustemović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Želimir Plečko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Filip Mikas reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vjekoslav Čukman. The goal made the score 0-1. After a rather tough play, Gubaševo's Tonko Prešnjak got a free kick in the 87th minute. Alen Janjić's late challenge caught a Ozalj's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alen Janjić helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Gubaševo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alen Janjić to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Gubaševo getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Damjan Mudrinić hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miha Rustemović in the 95th minute of play forced Ozalj's goalkeeper Želimir Plečko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miha Rustemović fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Želimir Plečko having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Ozalj had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
