The referee ignored Gubaševo's protests and gave Zlatko Draganjac a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Gubaševo's Zlatko Draganjac got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gubaševo's goalkeeper Vjekoslav Čukman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vodice Naprijed's Dino Vojnović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miha Rustemović in the 29th minute of play. Lucijan Lovrinović hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Dino Vojnović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Miha Rustemović in the 64th minute of play. In the 67th minute, Miha Rustemović ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dino Vojnović was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. During the 69th minute of the match Dario Dabo completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dario Dabo a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Gubaševo booed when Vodice Naprijed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Dabo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slavko Penga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vjekoslav Čukman having to make a save. Dino Vojnović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dejan Ivelić, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 84 minutes into the game, Dejan Ivelić cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Dino Vojnović was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
