Spectators: 6296 (Terracing: 4500, Seating: 1796, VIP seats: 0) Tomislav Furmek started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Dalibor Šimunić sped through NK Croatia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miran Jašić. With an all-out effort, NK Croatia's Matija Stublić threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tomislav Furmek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Donat Jović hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 16th match minute, NK Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gordan Bošnir to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Dalibor Šimunić managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belec's supporters rose to their feet, but Dalibor Šimunić was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miran Jašić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ljudevit Žufić hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Miran Jašić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dalibor Šimunić in the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st match minute, Belec was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Donat Jović to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomislav Furmek in the 32nd minute of play forced Belec's goalkeeper Matija Stublić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belec's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Tomislav Furmek scored to the left of an out of position Matija Stublić, making the score, 1-1. The supporters of NK Croatia booed when Belec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ilija Škoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomo Nimac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Matija Stublić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matija Stublić came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by NK Croatia's Tomo Nimac. But to his dismay, Tomo Nimac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dalibor Šimunić to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomo Nimac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matija Stublić having to interfere. Matija Stublić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomislav Furmek in the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Željko Ljuština dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Miran Jašić, 2-2. 62 minutes into the match, NK Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Dalibor Šimunić came free, but Miran Jašić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Dalibor Šimunić kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miran Jašić. That made the score 2-3 in the 65 minute of play. Vjekoslav Balaško charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vjekoslav Balaško the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vjekoslav Balaško kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Stanimir Konrad, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donat Jović during the 82nd minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Željko Ljuština couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Belec's zone, Tomo Nimac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matija Stublić came out of the goal and Tomo Nimac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Srećko Birovljević during the 97th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 97 played minutes Belec got a freekick which was hit by Srećko Birovljević. The Belec players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented NK Croatia from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
