Veselin Kladarić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Lacmanović in the 7th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Matej Zekić made a precise shot to the right of Vedran Milinović. Čukovec Dilj's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Čukovec Dilj's Vedran Milinović got control of the ball when Egon Vojnović tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vedran Milinović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matej Zekić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Jelkovec getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Geovani Gonçalves hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matej Zekić in the 21st minute of play forced Čukovec Dilj's goalkeeper Vedran Milinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nino Andal scored 1-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Veselin Kladarić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 32 played minutes Jelkovec got a freekick which was hit by Davor Röwe. Nino Andal charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Čukovec Dilj were furious when Augustin Palić was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. With a little luck, Čukovec Dilj's Vedran Milinović got control of the ball when Rene Geček tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Jelkovec players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Čukovec Dilj were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Matej Zekić to strike the kick off in the second half. Ratko Kvaternik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
