Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vrbovsko Croatia's Anđelko Fijember started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Marinko Osrečak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinko Osrečak in the 5th minute of play forced Vrbovsko Croatia's goalkeeper Jura Kušan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Viktor Kramarić took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jura Kušan. Jura Kušan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinko Osrečak in the 13th minute of play forced Vrbovsko Croatia's goalkeeper Jura Kušan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anđelko Fijember in the 17th minute of play forced Podturen Sloboda's goalkeeper Miro Nalis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ištvan Ljubičić scored 1-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miro Nalis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mitar Miljuš kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Vrbovsko Croatia's Stanko Palković in action when he in the 29th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Marinko Osrečak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jura Kušan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Vrbovsko Croatia's Gabrijel Kmetić got a free kick in the 48th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Viktor Kramarić got free with Jura Kušan in the 49th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 57 minutes into the game, when Mitar Miljuš put in a rough tackle. After 56 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Podturen Sloboda! The goalkeeper, Miro Nalis, was totally fooled by Vrbovsko Croatia's Stanko Palković, who 59 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Miro Nalis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anđelko Fijember, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 69 minutes into the match, Vrbovsko Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Kramarić came free, but Jura Kušan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ištvan Ljubičić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ištvan Ljubičić came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Vrbovsko Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ištvan Ljubičić couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Vrbovsko Croatia getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Borko Rukljač hit a great ball. Jura Kušan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damir Tomičić in the 89th minute of play. 92 minutes into the match, Podturen Sloboda's Stanko Trohar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jura Kušan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Viktor Kramarić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jura Kušan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 100th minute the ball was on its way in behind Podturen Sloboda's goalkeeper Miro Nalis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Podturen Sloboda players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
