Dinko Katunarić came out of the goal and Rafael Horvat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafael Horvat in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dinko Katunarić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in FC Podhum's zone, Mislav Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mišo Petković came out of the goal and Mislav Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Božidar Lavčević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mišo Petković having to interfere. Branimir Vuica scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dinko Katunarić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Podhum's Milivoj Šuvar got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute, Mislav Furlan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mišo Petković. The goal made the score 1-1. After 25 played minutes FC Podhum got a freekick which was hit by Rafael Horvat. Mišo Petković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mislav Furlan in the 29th minute of play. Milivoj Šuvar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Miha Sabljar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mišo Petković having to interfere. Branimir Vuica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to torca getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Neno Pečenić hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Mišo Petković came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by torca's Mislav Furlan. But to his dismay, Mislav Furlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Božidar Lavčević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Branimir Vuica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mišo Petković showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Božidar Lavčević in the 69th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mislav Furlan in the 76th minute of play forced FC Podhum's goalkeeper Mišo Petković to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cvjetko Gajić hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Mislav Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 88 minutes into the game, torca's Mislav Furlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mišo Petković made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. FC Podhum's Rafael Horvat got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. torca were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
