If Mateo Jambrešić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 11th minute by Ozren Tarabarić got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Bartol Wolf received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Josip Franić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Jambrešić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ibrica Jablan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 36 minutes, Mateo Jambrešić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Peteranec Tekstilac's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Jambrešić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ibrica Jablan came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Slaven United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ibrica Jablan couldn't finish the play. 44 minutes into the game, Peteranec Tekstilac's Andro Lokin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Josip Franić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ibrica Jablan to strike the kick off in the second half. Ozren Tarabarić took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zvonko Čorić. Zvonko Čorić dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andro Lokin got free with Josip Franić in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 62nd match minute, Peteranec Tekstilac was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ibrica Dodaj to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Peteranec Tekstilac getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Bartol Wolf hit a great ball. If Ozren Tarabarić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. Ibrica Jablan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvonko Čorić having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Ozren Tarabarić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slaven United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Peteranec Tekstilac's zone, Ibrica Jablan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zvonko Čorić came out of the goal and Ibrica Jablan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 85 minutes, Vjenceslav Maroević mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slaven United and the Peteranec Tekstilac players grew even worse after the yellow card. Peteranec Tekstilac's Mateo Jambrešić got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Slaven United's zone, Andro Lokin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josip Franić came out of the goal and Andro Lokin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ozren Tarabarić came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Slaven United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ozren Tarabarić couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Slaven United booed when Peteranec Tekstilac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bartol Wolf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slaven United were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Peteranec Tekstilac for a fine match.
