Mirko Ostojić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Šeks's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ilko Šeler got free with Mirko Ostojić in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mirko Ostojić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Šeks, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dražen Meštrović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jadranko Gradiček, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Dražen Meštrović showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jadranko Gradiček in the 20th minute of the match. When Ilko Šeler came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Slavonac fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ilko Šeler couldn't finish the play. Erik Šeks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Ostojić having to interfere. Dražen Meštrović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jadranko Gradiček, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. When Ostoja Jelačić fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 420 blaze it!!1's protests and gave Ostoja Jelačić a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Slavonac booed when 420 blaze it!!1 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ostoja Jelačić didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ilko Šeler struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Mirko Ostojić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slavonac. 420 blaze it!!1's Mirko Ostojić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Šeks in the 34th minute of play. Ilko Šeler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mirko Ostojić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Erik Šeks came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Slavonac fans jumped to their feet. When Slavonac's Erik Šeks in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 420 blaze it!!1's goalie prevented a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Šeks to strike the kick off in the second half. Ostoja Jelačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jadranko Gradiček received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik Šeks in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mirko Ostojić saved 420 blaze it!!1 from getting behind. Mirko Ostojić was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Slavonac were the better team. Slavonac's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
