The audience was convinced that Ratko Bralo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jurica Miljuš was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bošnjaci's goalkeeper Jurica Miljuš, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Đuro Mirković scored 0-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jurica Miljuš, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jurica Miljuš stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Đuro Mirković's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Damjan Svoboda shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 63 minutes into the game, Bošnjaci's Mijat Opašić nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Blaženko Renje made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Mijat Opašić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Blaženko Renje read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. In the 76th minute, Blaž Gojan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 82nd minute Đuro Mirković shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jurica Miljuš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Šandor Stojnović thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jurica Miljuš, a very annoying self made goal in the 84th minute which led to 1-3. Đuro Mirković received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Jurica Miljuš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, Bošnjaci's goalkeeper Jurica Miljuš had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ratko Bralo. Đuro Mirković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jurica Miljuš having to interfere. The Hlebine supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hlebine would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
