Spectators: 6900 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Velimir Ožbolt got the match started through his kick off. Filip Katić was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Velimir Ožbolt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 8th minute Kazimir Pudar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvonko Nađ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tihomir Debrecin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Zvonko Nađ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mato Žiha hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute of the match Branislav Feletar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zvonko Nađ showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Mejaši Drava's goalkeeper Filip Katić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Branimir Šoštarić. Zvonko Nađ came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Mejaši Drava's Ostoja Tošić. But to his dismay, Ostoja Tošić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ilko Malbašić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of NK Strojar Palovec booed when Mejaši Drava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatko Gambiroža didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Zlatan Brozović in the 28th minute really tested Filip Katić's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Jadran Ševo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Zvonko Nađ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filip Katić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Velimir Ožbolt in the 36th minute of play. NK Strojar Palovec's Branimir Šoštarić got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mejaši Drava's Jadran Ševo got a free kick in the 41st minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ostoja Tošić was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velimir Ožbolt in the 56th minute of play forced Mejaši Drava's goalkeeper Filip Katić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mejaši Drava getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mileta Mijić hit a great ball. The supporters of NK Strojar Palovec booed when Mejaši Drava was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jadran Ševo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velimir Ožbolt in the 63rd minute of play forced Mejaši Drava's goalkeeper Filip Katić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mejaši Drava's Ostoja Tošić got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Ostoja Tošić came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Mejaši Drava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ostoja Tošić couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in NK Strojar Palovec's zone, Ostoja Tošić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zvonko Nađ came out of the goal and Ostoja Tošić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. NK Strojar Palovec's Zvonko Nađ proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save NK Strojar Palovec from getting a goal against them. Jadran Ševo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mejaši Drava's Filip Katić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branimir Šoštarić in the 84th minute of play. When Branislav Feletar fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mejaši Drava's protests and gave Branislav Feletar a yellow card for diving instead. Branislav Feletar hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Ilko Malbašić missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 90 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Filip Katić right hand side. 92 minutes into the match, Mejaši Drava's goal looked a bit too open when Branimir Šoštarić came free, but Filip Katić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ostoja Tošić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mejaši Drava played a much better game than NK Strojar Palovec and deserved their victory. The NK Strojar Palovec players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
