When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Velimir Ožbolt made a kick off. If Leopold Savičević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 52nd minute, Slaven Hohnjec got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 67th minute, Benjamin Macedo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. FC Nail City 1976's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When the match was over FC Nail City 1976 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than NK Strojar Palovec throughout the match.
