Spectators: 6804 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 0) Rafael Ljubičić made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova Raca's goalkeeper Rato Dragozetić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Prode's Igor Janežić got a free kick in the 10th minute. Dejan Juršić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Želimir Pendo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 16 minutes, Želimir Pendo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd minute Stojko Goleš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rato Dragozetić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Prode's goalkeeper Želimir Pendo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dejan Juršić. Rato Dragozetić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Ljubičić, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Stojko Goleš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Prode booed when Nova Raca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominik Borovečki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabijan Žungul didn't quite understand what happened when in the 36 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Rato Dragozetić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stojko Goleš in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frano Maračić to make the kick off. Stojko Goleš struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Rato Dragozetić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Prode. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dejan Juršić in the 61st minute of play forced Prode's goalkeeper Želimir Pendo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stojko Goleš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Frano Maračić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Želimir Pendo. Prode's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frano Maračić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Frano Maračić spun around in front of the goal 88 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Prode's goal. When the referee ended the match the Nova Raca players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
