Vice Tarabarić hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. 23 minutes into the match, NK Rab's Šimun Karapandža sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Valter Turčin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Mali Erjavec's Valter Turčin got control of the ball when Šimun Karapandža tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zvonimir Radeta was the one to do the kick off. Šimun Karapandža sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of NK Rab booed when Mali Erjavec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oto Pleše didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sergej Bilas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Valter Turčin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Šimun Karapandža, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 76 minutes into the match, Šimun Karapandža had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Valter Turčin. Mali Erjavec's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Šimun Karapandža was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Zdenko Frank could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Ivica Gospić made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Mali Erjavec's zone, Tonino Čančar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valter Turčin came out of the goal and Tonino Čančar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mali Erjavec's Zvonimir Radeta got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 88 played minutes Mali Erjavec got a freekick which was hit by Vjeran Ljumezi. Šimun Karapandža received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Valter Turčin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 91st minute Tonino Čančar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valter Turčin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tonino Čančar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. NK Rab's Tonino Čančar got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
