Spectators: 5100 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alen Bosanac made the kick off which started today's match. After some careless play in the NK Croatia defense, Alen Bosanac kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matej Domić. The NK Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matej Domić should have stopped the shot. In the 9th minute, NK Croatia's Dubravko Bobanović dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Matej Domić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alen Bosanac in the 16th minute of play. Rade Šišić hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute of the match Jure Čavlović sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matej Domić skillfully saved the ball. After 24 minutes of play, Novi Vinodolski Vitez's Alen Bosanac made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matej Domić was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Novi Vinodolski Vitez's Ljubomir Ferić got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute, Leopold Ledinek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matej Domić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alen Bosanac in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ostoja Peroković in the 36th minute of play forced NK Croatia's goalkeeper Matej Domić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Damir Sabolek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maksim Hajni having to interfere. Maksim Hajni made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damir Sabolek in the 39th minute. The NK Croatia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Novi Vinodolski Vitez were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damir Sabolek made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Tonko Đurović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 55th match minute, NK Croatia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karlo Savić to maneuver through the defense. Ostoja Peroković fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matej Domić having to interfere. A collision led to Novi Vinodolski Vitez getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Arijan Ležaić hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damir Sabolek in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maksim Hajni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Alen Bosanac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 70 minutes, Leopold Ledinek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NK Croatia and the Novi Vinodolski Vitez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 70th minute, Leopold Ledinek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Damir Sabolek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dubravko Bobanović's late challenge caught a Novi Vinodolski Vitez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dubravko Bobanović helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Novi Vinodolski Vitez booed when NK Croatia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dubravko Bobanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matej Domić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alen Bosanac, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. NK Croatia's Matej Domić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alen Bosanac in the 87th minute of play. Damir Sabolek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 90 minutes into the match, NK Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Ljubomir Ferić came free, but Matej Domić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Novi Vinodolski Vitez's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
