Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Željko Stjepović kicked off to start the match. Kazimir Vedriš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Šarengrad Krka's goalkeeper Antun Šljivić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dubravko Savičević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edo Vugec having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Trešnjevka's zone, Dubravko Savičević stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edo Vugec came out of the goal and Dubravko Savičević tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edo Vugec showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severin Dajčić, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Edo Vugec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severin Dajčić in the 25th minute of play. If Željko Stjepović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dubravko Savičević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Njegoš Šturbek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Željko Stjepović struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Antun Šljivić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trešnjevka. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerko Čuvalo in the 40th minute of play forced Trešnjevka's goalkeeper Edo Vugec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Severin Dajčić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Severin Dajčić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Šarengrad Krka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severin Dajčić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute Dubravko Savičević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edo Vugec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edo Vugec made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Severin Dajčić sent off a good shot on target. In the 57th match minute, Trešnjevka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Njegoš Šturbek to maneuver through the defense. Edo Vugec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dubravko Savičević in the 59th minute of play. With his leg Edo Vugec managed to avoid a goal in the 60thth minute, when Šarengrad Krka's Severin Dajčić fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 61 minutes, Dubravko Savičević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Šarengrad Krka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dubravko Savičević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 66 minutes, Severin Dajčić mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Šarengrad Krka and the Trešnjevka players grew even worse after the yellow card. Severin Dajčić kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Šarengrad Krka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerko Čuvalo to maneuver through the defense. Dubravko Savičević's late challenge caught a Trešnjevka's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dubravko Savičević helped the player get up and apologised. Dubravko Savičević kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. If Željko Stjepović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severin Dajčić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edo Vugec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. With a little luck, Trešnjevka's Edo Vugec got control of the ball when Severin Dajčić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dubravko Savičević who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 83rdth minute tested the skills of Edo Vugec when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Severin Dajčić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edo Vugec was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tomislav Rački. The supporters of Šarengrad Krka booed when Trešnjevka was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lovro Ražić didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the game, Šime Garafulić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trešnjevka's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Šarengrad Krka the free kick. Šime Garafulić kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Edo Vugec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dubravko Savičević went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 97th minute Lovro Ražić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antun Šljivić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Šarengrad Krka could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Trešnjevka throughout the match.
