In the 5th minute, Mate Maras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Kristijan Vlaše notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Grobnik United's Berislav Podvršnik. Berislav Podvršnik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stanko Žalik during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Stanko Žalik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute Lucijan Frgačić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabijan Dorkin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zlatan Račan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabijan Dorkin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Camillo Corelli made a precise shot to the right of Berislav Podvršnik. FC Grobnik United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Camillo Corellis short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Berislav Podvršnik to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 38th minute, Jure Kovačiček hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Camillo Corelli's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berislav Podvršnik was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. After 44 minutes, Zlatan Račan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Grobnik United and the NK Dinamo-Sela players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of NK Dinamo-Sela booed when FC Grobnik United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zlatan Račan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Camillo Corelli to strike the kick off in the second half. Pavao Vajda hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Mate Maras hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Tvrtko Pavuna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute Camillo Corelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berislav Podvršnik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 62 minutes, Camillo Corelli made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC Grobnik United's Berislav Podvršnik tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 68 minutes, Parip Bubalo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK Dinamo-Sela's supporters crossed their fingers, but Parip Bubalo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to NK Dinamo-Sela getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Zvonko Ruklić hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Camillo Corelli put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Berislav Podvršnik. Berislav Podvršnik stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camillo Corelli's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. During the 81st minute of the match Zlatan Račan completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Zlatan Račan a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 90 minutes into the match, Camillo Corelli had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berislav Podvršnik. FC Grobnik United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Camillo Corelli was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. Parip Bubalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Berislav Podvršnik having to interfere. NK Dinamo-Sela walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
