When Edo Krstanović came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the NK MLADOST BUZIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edo Krstanović couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Velimir Mihelčić in the 17th minute of play forced NK Imotski's goalkeeper Stojko Prlić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateo Dabo charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateo Dabo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes NK MLADOST BUZIN got a freekick which was hit by Mateo Dabo. Stojko Prlić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velimir Mihelčić in the 22nd minute of the match. Edo Krstanović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Stojko Prlić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Dabo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, NK Imotski's Ernest Đurićić threw himself towards the right post 30 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mislav Levenski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 33 minutes into the match, NK MLADOST BUZIN's goal looked a bit too open when Mislav Levenski came free, but Ernest Đurićić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tonino Petrinović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Velimir Mihelčić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Velimir Mihelčić in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stojko Prlić saved NK Imotski from getting behind. Tonino Petrinović could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ernest Đurićić made a huge save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mislav Levenski made a kick off. NK MLADOST BUZIN's Ernest Đurićić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tonino Petrinović in the 57th minute of play. Stojko Prlić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edo Krstanović in the 64th minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, NK MLADOST BUZIN's goal looked a bit too open when Tonino Petrinović came free, but Ernest Đurićić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The NK Imotski fans' excitement grew in the 67th match minute when NK Imotski's Mislav Levenski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Mirko Hunjak came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the NK MLADOST BUZIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mirko Hunjak couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Radimir Sabolek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edo Krstanović struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. NK MLADOST BUZIN's Velimir Mihelčić got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The NK MLADOST BUZIN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Stojko Prlić successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 87 minutes, Edo Krstanović managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK MLADOST BUZIN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edo Krstanović was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
