Spectators: 7931 (Terracing: 5994, Seating: 1837, VIP seats: 100) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Vjeran Prohaska made the kick off which started today's match. Milan Vusak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belimir Juršić having to interfere. Milan Vusak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Milan Vusak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Belimir Juršić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Franko Hemula took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niko Kirac. Niko Kirac dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Donji Laduč's Belimir Juršić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milan Vusak in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute Milan Vusak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belimir Juršić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Milan Vusak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belimir Juršić having to interfere. Hlapičina HNK's Zdenko Taslak got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th minute, Milan Vusak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zdenko Taslak was the one to do the kick off. Pravdan Bjelobrk's late challenge caught a Hlapičina HNK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pravdan Bjelobrk helped the player get up and apologised. 53 minutes into the game, one of Donji Laduč:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Milan Vusak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Belimir Juršić made a huge save. A hard shot by Blaž Čobanov from long distance, 62 minutes into the match, got Belimir Juršić's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Mladen Tvrdić hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Donji Laduč's zone, Milan Vusak stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belimir Juršić came out of the goal and Milan Vusak tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zdenko Taslak struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Belimir Juršić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hlapičina HNK. Vedran Vujović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Niko Kirac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Milan Vusak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Donji Laduč's goalkeeper Belimir Juršić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Zdenko Taslak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Belimir Juršić. That made the score 1-2 in the 83 minute of play. When Zdenko Taslak came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Hlapičina HNK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zdenko Taslak couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute Zdenko Taslak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belimir Juršić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
