Spectators: 6838 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1838, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Zlatan Benčak took the kick off in the first half of the match. Roman Runje might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duje Rapaić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roman Runje ran back to his position shaking his head. When Kruno Mudri fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PROMINA's protests and gave Kruno Mudri a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, PROMINA's Kruno Mudri got a free kick in the 9th minute. Kruno Mudri got his second yellow card in the match during the 11th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 12th match minute, PROMINA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kruno Mudri to maneuver through the defense. Valter Fatur stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zlatan Benčak's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Arsen Mironović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 17 minutes, Siniša Bertović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Virje Sava and the PROMINA players grew even worse after the yellow card. Siniša Bertović hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Milivoj Tepavac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Zlatan Benčak rounded PROMINA's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Zlatan Benčak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valter Fatur having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Zlatan Benčak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Virje Sava's supporters rose to their feet, but Zlatan Benčak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valter Fatur breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Milivoj Tepavac recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Runje hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Milivoj Tepavac was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Virje Sava's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Valter Fatur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zlatan Benčak in the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Arsen Mironović stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Roman Runje had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsen Mironović's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duje Rapaić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Virje Sava's Milivoj Tepavac got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 68th minute of the match Siniša Bertović completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Siniša Bertović a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Siniša Bertović hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute of the match Valentin Cerin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Duje Rapaić showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roman Runje during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st minute, Roman Runje hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Valter Fatur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Milivoj Tepavac, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. After 73 played minutes Virje Sava got a freekick which was hit by Zlatan Benčak. Valentin Cerin, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Arsen Mironović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Milivoj Tepavac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Valter Fatur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Virje Sava booed when PROMINA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Cerin didn't get a good kick on the ball. PROMINA's Valter Fatur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Milivoj Tepavac in the 87th minute of play. When Milivoj Tepavac came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Virje Sava fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milivoj Tepavac couldn't finish the play. If Milivoj Tepavac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sanjin Žalik kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Virje Sava's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
