Valter Fatur showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nino Čobanov in the 5th minute of the match. When Križ Slavija's Neven Knežić in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PROMINA's goalie prevented a goal. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by PROMINA's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Milivoj Mlinac was slow to take the kick. During this time Križ Slavija's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Križ Slavija's corner Milivoj Mlinac fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Valter Fatur quite easily take care of the ball. Valter Fatur didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Neven Knežić went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute of the match Križ Slavija got a corner. PROMINA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Milivoj Mlinac ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Mirko Jurišić heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Nino Čobanov sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. PROMINA's Arsen Mironović got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Julije Bobić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Runje's shot from short distance in the 47th minute.

Roman Runje's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julije Bobić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Neven Knežić's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Valter Fatur skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nino Čobanov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Valter Fatur tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsen Mironović struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Julije Bobić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PROMINA. After some careless play in the Križ Slavija defense, Roman Runje kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julije Bobić. The Križ Slavija fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julije Bobić should have stopped the shot. Julije Bobić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arsen Mironović, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Roman Runje recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 87 minutes into the game, Nino Čobanov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Valter Fatur. Nino Čobanov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. In the 93rd minute, Križ Slavija's Nino Čobanov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Valter Fatur. Valter Fatur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Križ Slavija walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
