Zdenko Čolak hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Danijel Nalis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 9th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Simon Modrah. CRO Champions's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tonči Markovina in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Simon Modrah prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 15 minutes into the match, Stjepko Matjašić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Simon Modrah. CRO Champions's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stjepko Matjašić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. With a little luck, Superstars's Leon Fukač got control of the ball when Tvrtko Posarić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tvrtko Posarić could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Leon Fukač made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Zdenko Čolak managed to get in a good position for a shot. CRO Champions's supporters rose to their feet, but Zdenko Čolak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leon Fukač breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Leon Fukač showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Mehić in the 38th minute of the match. With a little luck, Superstars's Leon Fukač got control of the ball when Tvrtko Posarić tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernard Mehić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Leon Fukač tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Superstars were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Tvrtko Posarić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Fukač having to interfere. Tonči Markovinas short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Simon Modrah to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tvrtko Posarić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Leon Fukač tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernard Mehić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Fukač having to interfere. Leon Fukač showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Mehić, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Bernard Mehić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leon Fukač having to make a save. Tvrtko Posarić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Fukač having to interfere. Zdenko Čolak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Superstars's goalkeeper Leon Fukač, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Stjepko Matjašić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Simon Modrah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Fukač showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernard Mehić, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The CRO Champions supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Superstars's performance. The match ended with a win for Superstars.
