Ladislav Hercigonja didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th match minute, Samobor Juzno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jadranko Švenda to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Mitar Dokuš from long distance, 10 minutes into the match, got Kazimir Stipić's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Samobor Juzno's Kazimir Stipić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Mehić in the 13th minute of play. With a little luck, Samobor Juzno's Kazimir Stipić got control of the ball when Tvrtko Posarić tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Bernard Mehić came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the CRO Champions fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Mehić couldn't finish the play. In the 25th match minute, Samobor Juzno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Šimun Pulić to maneuver through the defense. Tvrtko Posarić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kazimir Stipić having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlado Šaškin in the 35th minute of play forced CRO Champions's goalkeeper Simon Modrah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Simon Modrah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mijat Devčić's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Simon Modrah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlado Šaškin, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. When Mijat Devčić came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Samobor Juzno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mijat Devčić couldn't finish the play. Samobor Juzno's Vlado Šaškin got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CRO Champions's Simon Modrah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlado Šaškin in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernard Mehić in the 52nd minute of play forced Samobor Juzno's goalkeeper Kazimir Stipić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kazimir Stipić came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by CRO Champions's Bernard Mehić. But to his dismay, Bernard Mehić quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Kazimir Stipić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernard Mehić's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in CRO Champions's zone, Vlado Šaškin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Modrah came out of the goal and Vlado Šaškin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute Bernard Mehić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimir Stipić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, CRO Champions's goalkeeper Simon Modrah had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mijat Devčić. CRO Champions's Simon Modrah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlado Šaškin in the 76th minute of play. Simon Modrah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mijat Devčić in the 77th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Samobor Juzno's zone, Tvrtko Posarić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kazimir Stipić came out of the goal and Tvrtko Posarić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kazimir Stipić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tvrtko Posarić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Samobor Juzno's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Mehić came free, but Kazimir Stipić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Bernard Mehić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimir Stipić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CRO Champions's Simon Modrah proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save CRO Champions from getting a goal against them. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
