Nenad Hodak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mile Pinjatela in the 4th minute of the match. Nenad Hodak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vlatko Fertalj, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Vlatko Fertalj managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Internazionale F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Vlatko Fertalj was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Garešnica's Nedjeljko Begonja got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nenad Hodak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mile Pinjatela, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Mile Pinjatela took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nenad Hodak. Nenad Hodak dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Nedjeljko Begonja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nedjeljko Begonja succeeded in the game's 43rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Mile Pinjatela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nenad Hodak having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Nedjeljko Begonja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Jurković having to interfere. Robert Jurković made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nedjeljko Begonja in the 56th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miran Juričin during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 59 played minutes Internazionale F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Miran Juričin. Držimir Kucijan kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nenad Hodak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Garešnica's Nenad Hodak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlatko Fertalj in the 88th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
