But to his dismay, Vjenceslav Zanoletti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Darko Okanović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vjenceslav Dimjašević, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Jazavica's goal looked a bit too open when Mitar Goleš came free, but Pavel Samuda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

There was no doubt that Jazavica were the better team. Jazavica's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
