Spectators: 6843 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1843, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alen Rapan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Stanimir Dominkuš was a little too slow when Leo Krapac got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Leo Krapac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stanimir Dominkuš made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leo Krapac in the 9th minute of play. Igor Krznarić charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Igor Krznarić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ivanbegovina booed when Kaniža was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Krznarić didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Leo Krapac recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Stanimir Dominkuš. Leo Krapac showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 14th minute, Miha Bićanić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Oton Geček put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Ivanbegovina:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Kaniža:s goal. The referee gave Kaniža a penalty, 20 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Erik Juras, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ivanbegovina's Nikola Molnar. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Ivanbegovina's Roman Čabo got a free kick in the 24th minute. Alen Rapan struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Nikola Molnar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kaniža. If Zoltan Princ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Kaniža's Alen Rapan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikola Molnar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zoltan Princ in the 35thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Stanimir Dominkuš, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoltan Princ got free with Stanimir Dominkuš in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Kaniža's Erik Juras got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Nikola Molnar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alen Rapan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Alen Rapan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kaniža fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2.

The wind increased when Zoltan Princ made the kick off in the second half. Veljko Baković kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After 54 minutes Ivanbegovina's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Erik Juras who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Alen Rapan got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nikola Molnar quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 58th match minute, Kaniža was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kazimir Jamičić to maneuver through the defense. Stanimir Dominkuš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fran Kotarac in the 60th minute of the match. If Zoltan Princ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marko Cenov's late challenge caught a Kaniža's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marko Cenov helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ivanbegovina's Marko Cenov got a free kick in the 66th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kaniža's zone, Alen Čaplar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanimir Dominkuš came out of the goal and Alen Čaplar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vladan Bulaja kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Zoltan Princ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ivanbegovina getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Alen Čaplar hit a great ball. Stanimir Dominkuš showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltan Princ in the 95th minute of the match. Zoltan Princ struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Stanimir Dominkuš didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ivanbegovina. Ivanbegovina walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
