Veljko Baković's late challenge caught a NK Polet's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Veljko Baković helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ivanbegovina getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Veljko Baković hit a great ball. When Eugen Tošić came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the NK Polet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Tošić couldn't finish the play. In the 12th minute, NK Polet's Eugen Tošić ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nikola Molnar. Nikola Molnar yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 18th minute, Filip Crnojević got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veljko Baković hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Tošić in the 32nd minute of play forced Ivanbegovina's goalkeeper Nikola Molnar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslav Drach hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. During the 39th minute of the match Veljko Baković completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Veljko Baković a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Ivanbegovina getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Veljko Baković hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Ivanbegovina's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Tošić came free, but Nikola Molnar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to NK Polet getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Miroslav Drach hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugen Tošić was the one to do the kick off. Eugen Tošić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikola Molnar having to interfere. Zoltan Princ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ante Bobanović having to interfere. Ivanbegovina's Nikola Molnar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Crnojević in the 61st minute of play. If Filip Crnojević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nikola Molnar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Crnojević in the 68th minute of the match. Filip Crnojević recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Filip Crnojević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marko Cenov during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ivanbegovina's Marko Cenov got a free kick in the 88th minute. When NK Polet's Filip Crnojević in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ivanbegovina's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that NK Polet were the better team. NK Polet's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
