Toma Bošnjak in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ante Bobanović, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Eugen Tošić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Filip Crnojević recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 12th minute Eugen Tošić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velimir Mraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, HNK VAVO Rajić's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Tošić came free, but Velimir Mraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leopold Antunović hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Velimir Mraz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Crnojević, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Miroslav Drach hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Leopold Antunović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Toma Bošnjak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of NK Polet booed when HNK VAVO Rajić was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopold Antunović didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 36 minutes, Toma Bošnjak made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. NK Polet's Ante Bobanović tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 40 minutes into the match, Filip Crnojević notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of HNK VAVO Rajić's Velimir Mraz. Velimir Mraz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 44 minutes into the match, HNK VAVO Rajić's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Crnojević came free, but Velimir Mraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Božidar Klarin in the 47th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by HNK VAVO Rajić's Sandi Janeš. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toma Bošnjak was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to NK Polet getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Miroslav Drach hit a great ball. Sandi Janeš scored 2-1 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ante Bobanović, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, HNK VAVO Rajić's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Tošić came free, but Velimir Mraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toma Bošnjak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nediljko Gluhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toma Bošnjak took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ante Bobanović. Ante Bobanović dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Velimir Mraz made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Filip Crnojević sent off a good shot on target. Velimir Mraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Tošić in the 75th minute of play. Velimir Mraz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eugen Tošić showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 76 minute of play. After 80 played minutes NK Polet got a freekick which was hit by Valter Barišin. In the 81stth minute of the game Toma Bošnjak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Polet's Ante Bobanović was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Velimir Mraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugen Tošić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Filip Crnojević could shoot a difficult shot in the 92nd minute, which Velimir Mraz however easily saved by the left post. Velimir Mraz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Tošić in the 94th minute of play. HNK VAVO Rajić's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
