Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Antonio Mijić got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, NK Zrinski's goalkeeper Đino Vračarić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandi Janeš. 7 minutes into the match, HNK VAVO Rajić's goal looked a bit too open when Jasenko Carević came free, but Velimir Mraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Nediljko Gluhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute Antonio Mijić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velimir Mraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandi Janeš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Toma Bošnjak kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Đino Vračarić. That made the score 1-0 in the 22 minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, HNK VAVO Rajić's Sandi Janeš made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Đino Vračarić was left in no man's land by his defense there! Toma Bošnjak struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Đino Vračarić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for HNK VAVO Rajić. 35 minutes into the match, HNK VAVO Rajić's goal looked a bit too open when Jasenko Carević came free, but Velimir Mraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 36 minutes, Sandi Janeš mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the HNK VAVO Rajić and the NK Zrinski players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sandi Janeš kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Toma Bošnjak fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HNK VAVO Rajić's protests and gave Toma Bošnjak a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Toma Bošnjak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toma Bošnjak in the 41st minute of play forced NK Zrinski's goalkeeper Đino Vračarić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute Antonio Mijić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Velimir Mraz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Mijić took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Velimir Mraz. Velimir Mraz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Toma Bošnjak was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for HNK VAVO Rajić! In the 55th minute of the game, NK Zrinski got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. Sandi Janeš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandi Janeš received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Đino Vračarić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sandi Janeš had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Leopold Antunović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Sandi Janeš managed to get in a good position for a shot. HNK VAVO Rajić's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandi Janeš was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Đino Vračarić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sandi Janeš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 71st minute Sandi Janeš shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đino Vračarić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Sandi Janeš got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopold Antunović recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marinko Obad during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 75th match minute, NK Zrinski was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marinko Obad to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Sandi Janeš notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of NK Zrinski's Đino Vračarić. Đino Vračarić was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Pravdan Delale in the 86th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by HNK VAVO Rajić's Leopold Antunović. NK Zrinski's Đino Vračarić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandi Janeš in the 90th minute of play. Sandi Janeš sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Sandi Janeš managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. HNK VAVO Rajić's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandi Janeš was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Antonio Mijić kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Velimir Mraz. That made the score 4-3 in the 99 minute of play.
