After a defensive mix-up in Nk Dugave Zg's zone, Eugen Tošić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tonči Kopljar came out of the goal and Eugen Tošić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filip Crnojević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. When Filip Crnojević came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the NK Polet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Crnojević couldn't finish the play. Valentin Školjarev who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Ante Bobanović when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Školjarev got free with Ante Bobanović in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 28th minute Filip Crnojević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonči Kopljar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tonči Kopljar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Crnojević in the 33rd minute of the match. Fran Pavlina might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ante Bobanović. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fran Pavlina ran back to his position shaking his head. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fran Pavlina to make the kick off. Fran Pavlina blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ante Bobanović having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Valentin Školjarev managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nk Dugave Zg's supporters rose to their feet, but Valentin Školjarev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ante Bobanović breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Fran Pavlina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 61 played minutes NK Polet got a freekick which was hit by Valter Barišin. Fran Pavlina took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ante Bobanović. Ante Bobanović dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jure Gamberožić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tonči Kopljar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nk Dugave Zg's goalkeeper Tonči Kopljar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Filip Crnojević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tonči Kopljar having to interfere. If Eugen Tošić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 88th minute Eugen Tošić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tonči Kopljar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Miroslav Drach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugen Tošić in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tonči Kopljar saved Nk Dugave Zg from getting behind. Valentin Školjarev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ante Bobanović having to interfere. NK Polet were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
