Spectators: 6848 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1848, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes Buševec Val got a freekick which was hit by Lucijan Vujović. In the 4th minute of the match Božidar Klarin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davor Orešar skillfully saved the ball. Filip Crnojević recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Davor Orešar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filip Crnojević in the 12th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugen Tošić in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Davor Orešar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Buševec Val's Davor Orešar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Crnojević in the 20th minute of play. When Miroslav Drach fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NK Polet's protests and gave Miroslav Drach a yellow card for diving instead. Miroslav Drach kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 25th minute, Buševec Val's Veljko Bregeš ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ante Bobanović. Ante Bobanović yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 28th minute, Rafael Vajda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Buševec Val fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Veljko Bregeš put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ante Bobanović. Eugen Tošić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davor Orešar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugen Tošić, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Filip Crnojević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davor Orešar having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Buševec Val's zone, Eugen Tošić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Davor Orešar came out of the goal and Eugen Tošić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugen Tošić to make the kick off. NK Polet's Filip Crnojević got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th minute, Jure Gamberožić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanko Žužul was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 56th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Filip Crnojević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd match minute, NK Polet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jure Gamberožić to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Tošić in the 66th minute of play forced Buševec Val's goalkeeper Davor Orešar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Eugen Tošić dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Davor Orešar, 3-1. In the 75th minute, one of Buševec Val:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Buševec Val. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for NK Polet. Božidar Klarin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Davor Orešar. 3-2. After having played for 80 minutes, Filip Crnojević managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NK Polet's supporters crossed their fingers, but Filip Crnojević was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Crnojević struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Davor Orešar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NK Polet. Filip Crnojević took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Davor Orešar. Davor Orešar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
