Toma Bošnjak started the match with the kick off. Leopold Antunović sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandi Janeš recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th match minute, Horky was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zvonko Bondža to maneuver through the defense. Mladen Paljan's late challenge caught a Horky's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mladen Paljan helped the player get up and apologised. 25 minutes into the game, Franko Radeta threw the ball into play from the sideline. Horky's Danijel Kapša quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 28 minutes of play, Horky's Đino Tot made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Velimir Mraz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Toma Bošnjak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Borna Kašić was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Đino Tot charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Đino Tot the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the match had gone on for 40 minutes, Luka Mohorović took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Velimir Mraz to make any attempt to save it. HNK VAVO Rajić's Velimir Mraz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Đino Tot in the 43rd minute of play. During the 45th minute of the match Đino Tot completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Đino Tot a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Đino Tot hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Kruno Travar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Luka Mohorović made the kick off in the second half. Toma Bošnjak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Borna Kašić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sandi Janeš fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borna Kašić having to interfere. Luka Mohorović received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Velimir Mraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to HNK VAVO Rajić getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Leopold Antunović hit a great ball. Velimir Mraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luka Mohorović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Borna Kašić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandi Janeš in the 74th minute. When Josip Buvac came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Horky fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Josip Buvac couldn't finish the play. The supporters of HNK VAVO Rajić booed when Horky was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zvonko Bondža didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nediljko Gluhan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Borna Kašić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Delale hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes HNK VAVO Rajić got a freekick which was hit by Franko Radeta. Horky's Adrijan Bibić couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for HNK VAVO Rajić. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Luka Mohorović managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horky's supporters rose to their feet, but Luka Mohorović was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Velimir Mraz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Toma Bošnjak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Borna Kašić having to interfere. HNK VAVO Rajić's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
