Spectators: 7941 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 100) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eugen Tošić got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslav Drach in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Đino Vračarić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in NK Polet's zone, Antonio Mijić stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ante Bobanović came out of the goal and Antonio Mijić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Filip Crnojević managed to get in a good position for a shot. NK Polet's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Crnojević was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Đino Vračarić breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jasenko Carević got free with Ante Bobanović in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Eugen Tošić in the 19th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. NK Zrinski's Đino Vračarić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filip Crnojević in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, NK Zrinski's Jasenko Carević sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ante Bobanović narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonio Mijić in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ante Bobanović saved NK Polet from getting behind. Eugen Tošić fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đino Vračarić having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Crnojević in the 40th minute of play forced NK Zrinski's goalkeeper Đino Vračarić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Kristijan Bobić fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NK Zrinski's protests and gave Kristijan Bobić a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes NK Zrinski got a freekick which was hit by Kristijan Bobić. Đino Vračarić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugen Tošić in the 42nd minute of the match. Filip Crnojević sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Filip Crnojević shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Đino Vračarić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Mijić to make the kick off. After 51 minutes of play NK Zrinski's Kristijan Bobić was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 51st minute, Kristijan Bobić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Filip Crnojević got free with Đino Vračarić in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Đino Vračarić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugen Tošić in the 56th minute of play. Filip Crnojević might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Đino Vračarić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filip Crnojević ran back to his position shaking his head. Filip Crnojević recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 66th minute, Filip Crnojević ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Đino Vračarić was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Filip Crnojević was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. NK Polet's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. An unexpected shot in the 73rd minute by Eugen Tošić got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eugen Tošić's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Đino Vračarić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. The supporters of NK Polet booed when NK Zrinski was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jakov Spajić didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eugen Tošić had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugen Tošić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Eugen Tošić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Filip Crnojević fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Đino Vračarić having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded NK Polet left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than NK Zrinski.
