Spectators: 6842 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1842, VIP seats: 0) Jakša Brkan made the kick off and thus started the match. Adolf Nađ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jakša Brkan in the 4th minute of the match. In the 5th minute, Ivan Jukić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 6 minutes, Jakša Brkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Susedgrad Uskok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakša Brkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gašpar Predan got free with Adolf Nađ in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, NK Shpaolin's goal looked a bit too open when Jakša Brkan came free, but Adolf Nađ reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radimir Džamonja during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Susedgrad Uskok's Robert Minđek got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 27thth minute of the game Joško Pešorda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Susedgrad Uskok's Zlatko Šoštarić was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Radimir Džamonja hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. After 45 played minutes NK Shpaolin got a freekick which was hit by Vice Antolković.

If Joško Pešorda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62ndth minute of the game Gašpar Predan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but NK Shpaolin's Adolf Nađ was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Jakša Brkan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 played minutes NK Shpaolin got a freekick which was hit by Damir Novačić. Tomo Olujić recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jakša Brkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Adolf Nađ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute of the match Slavko Matijašić sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adolf Nađ skillfully saved the ball. NK Shpaolin's Adolf Nađ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gašpar Predan in the 92nd minute of play. 96 minutes into the game, Tomo Olujić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Susedgrad Uskok's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NK Shpaolin the free kick. The supporters of NK Shpaolin booed when Susedgrad Uskok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomo Olujić didn't get a good kick on the ball. NK Shpaolin's Joško Pešorda got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. NK Shpaolin's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
