In the 6th minute Branko Mijatović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolf Nađ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's Branko Mijatović sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adolf Nađ narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 8th minute Branko Mijatović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolf Nađ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, NK Shpaolin's Radimir Džamonja got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 12 minutes, Ostoja Zorica made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. NK Shpaolin's Adolf Nađ tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Branko Mijatović recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adolf Nađ. Branko Mijatović showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Branko Mijatović blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolf Nađ having to make a save. Zoran Kaleb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damir Novačić in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Joško Pešorda who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's Zoran Kaleb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. NK Shpaolin's Adolf Nađ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Branko Mijatović in the 32nd minute of play. Mate Delale charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mate Delale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd minute Joško Pešorda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zoran Kaleb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damir Novačić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joško Pešorda in the 47th minute of play forced HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's goalkeeper Zoran Kaleb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's Branko Mijatović got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adolf Nađ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Branko Mijatović in the 61st minute of the match. A collision led to NK Shpaolin getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Radimir Džamonja hit a great ball. In the 66th minute, Njegoš Perković hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The corner led to HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's Boris Domić getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Ostoja Zorica sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's Branko Mijatović in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Branko Mijatović in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adolf Nađ saved NK Shpaolin from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC's goal looked a bit too open when Joško Pešorda came free, but Zoran Kaleb reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Damir Novačić fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ostoja Zorica blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adolf Nađ having to make a save. HRVATSKI DRAGOVOLJAC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
