After a defensive mix-up in Zagrebspor's zone, Kruno Gusar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lazar Purgar came out of the goal and Kruno Gusar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kruno Gusar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Lazar Purgar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Adrijan Travar made the kick off in the second half. Kruno Gusar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lazar Purgar having to make a save. 56 minutes into the match, Petrica Džeba notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Zagrebspor's Lazar Purgar. Lazar Purgar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Adrijan Travar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Vedran Andrejaš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zaprešić's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Krunoslav Dabović was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2.
