After some careless play in the Trnjani Zrinski defense, Stojko Kisin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gojko Dragoslavić. The Trnjani Zrinski fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gojko Dragoslavić should have stopped the shot. Borna Gluhak's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Perazić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, Kokolo i njegov sin's Stojko Kisin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gojko Dragoslavić was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mario Perazić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joško Matanović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gojko Dragoslavić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jadran Ćulibrk, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Joško Matanović received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mario Perazić came out and tried to block the shot, but Joško Matanović slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 53rd minute. 61 minutes into the game, Egon Lemić was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trnjani Zrinski's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kokolo i njegov sin the free kick. Egon Lemić hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Svebor Šušak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Trnjani Zrinski's Gojko Dragoslavić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jadran Ćulibrk in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Trnjani Zrinski's goal looked a bit too open when Stojko Kisin came free, but Gojko Dragoslavić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Kokolo i njegov sin were the better team. Kokolo i njegov sin's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
