Spectators: 6841 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1841, VIP seats: 0) Sodolovci's Stjepan Radošević started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jakša Brkan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Sodolovci's zone, Jakša Brkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Legenda came out of the goal and Jakša Brkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Robert Minđek during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 12th minute, Robert Minđek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakša Brkan in the 19th minute of play forced Sodolovci's goalkeeper Boris Legenda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute of the match Slavko Matijašić shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Boris Legenda showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 24th match minute, Sodolovci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Danijel Čanković to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sodolovci's zone, Jakša Brkan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Boris Legenda came out of the goal and Jakša Brkan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robert Minđek kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Zlatko Šoštarić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pero Markulić's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Susedgrad Uskok's Zlatko Šoštarić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dado Sertić in the 38th minute of play. Gašpar Predan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Boris Legenda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Susedgrad Uskok's goal looked a bit too open when Stjepan Radošević came free, but Zlatko Šoštarić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jakša Brkan to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Jakša Brkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Susedgrad Uskok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakša Brkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zlatko Šoštarić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stjepan Radošević, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 62 minutes, Jakša Brkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Susedgrad Uskok's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jakša Brkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dado Sertićs short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Zlatko Šoštarić to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Dado Sertić came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Sodolovci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dado Sertić couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute Gašpar Predan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boris Legenda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Susedgrad Uskok getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Robert Minđek hit a great ball. Dado Sertić came free with the goalkeeper in the 73rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zlatko Šoštarić could save by the left post. After 76 minutes, Simon Vrsalović mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Susedgrad Uskok and the Sodolovci players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 76th minute, Simon Vrsalović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stjepan Radošević's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zlatko Šoštarić read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. A collision led to Susedgrad Uskok getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Robert Minđek hit a great ball. Marin Penga's late challenge caught a Sodolovci's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marin Penga helped the player get up and apologised. Dado Sertić blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Zlatko Šoštarić having to make a save. If Stjepan Radošević had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sodolovci booed when Susedgrad Uskok was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Minđek didn't get a good kick on the ball. 95 minutes into the match, Sodolovci's Vanja Levenski broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
