Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gašpar Loje started the match with the kick off. Gvozden Husak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Stanimir Ljubičić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stanimir Ljubičić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gašpar Loje in the 19th minute of the match. When Dragutin Radeta came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Nk Prugovo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dragutin Radeta couldn't finish the play. In the 21st match minute, Nk Prugovo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damir Pašalić to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Mihael Vodnik from long distance, 28 minutes into the match, got Stanimir Ljubičić's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Lug Budućnost's Stanimir Ljubičić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gvozden Husak in the 31st minute of play. Gašpar Loje struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Stanimir Ljubičić didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nk Prugovo. In the 36th minute Gvozden Husak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanimir Ljubičić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Lug Budućnost was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilija Marinčić to maneuver through the defense. Stanimir Ljubičić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miran Rapo, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 43 minutes, Dragutin Radeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nk Prugovo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dragutin Radeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perica Smalcelj to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Lug Budućnost's goal looked a bit too open when Petar Paškov came free, but Stanimir Ljubičić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 57 played minutes Nk Prugovo got a freekick which was hit by Petar Paškov. 59 minutes into the game, Nk Prugovo's Gašpar Loje nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Stanimir Ljubičić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. 62 minutes into the game, Gašpar Loje cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Stanimir Ljubičić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gašpar Loje in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stanimir Ljubičić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Gašpar Loje sped through Lug Budućnost's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Stanimir Ljubičić. Kruno Šutej kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Gašpar Loje blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Stanimir Ljubičić having to make a save. After 76 minutes, Dragutin Radeta made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lug Budućnost's Stanimir Ljubičić tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 80 minutes, Dragutin Radeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stanimir Ljubičić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gašpar Loje in the 93rd minute of play.
