Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Damjan Baruška started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Držimir Ledenko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Neno Bježančević tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Držimir Ledenko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neno Bježančević having to interfere. Neno Bježančević made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florijan Dominković in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute Držimir Ledenko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neno Bježančević saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marko Reljić made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Sebastijan Pajić sent off a good shot on target. After 18 minutes, Florijan Dominković made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kobilić's Neno Bježančević tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Blaženko Labura's late challenge caught a Kobilić's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blaženko Labura helped the player get up and apologised. 27 minutes into the game, Žarko Tratnik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varteks's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kobilić the free kick. 28 minutes into the match, Kobilić's Darko Markić broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Marko Reljić made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Sebastijan Pajić sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damjan Baruška in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marko Reljić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Florijan Dominković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Neno Bježančević showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Žarko Tratnik, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Mijat Lerga advanced and headed the ball into goal, 0-2 in the 37th minute. Sebastijan Pajić received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Marko Reljić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sebastijan Pajić came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Kobilić fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastijan Pajić couldn't finish the play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Florijan Dominković made a kick off. Držimir Ledenkos short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Neno Bježančević to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Florijan Dominković's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Neno Bježančević read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Florijan Dominković managed to get in a good position for a shot. Varteks's supporters rose to their feet, but Florijan Dominković was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neno Bježančević breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Kobilić's zone, Florijan Dominković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Neno Bježančević came out of the goal and Florijan Dominković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marko Reljić stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sebastijan Pajić's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florijan Dominković in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neno Bježančević saved Kobilić from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastijan Pajić in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marko Reljić prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Kobilić's Sebastijan Pajić in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Varteks's goalie prevented a goal. Damjan Baruška received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Marko Reljić tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Florijan Dominković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Žarko Tratnik kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Marko Reljić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastijan Pajić went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Marko Reljić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damjan Baruška in the 89th minute of play. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Varteks's goalkeeper Marko Reljić, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kobilić's Damjan Baruška got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Varteks walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
