Povratnici were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Stipanovci Željezničar's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fran Davidović took the corner. 12 minutes into the match, Povratnici's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Mavrić came free, but Višeslav Berend reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leon Mavrić in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Višeslav Berend saved Povratnici from getting behind. When Stipanovci Željezničar's Leon Mavrić in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Povratnici's goalie prevented a goal. Višeslav Berend came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Stipanovci Željezničar's Frane Čiček. But to his dismay, Frane Čiček quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Antonio Alić hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Višeslav Berend took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Mavrić, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leon Mavrić hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When Povratnici's Andrej Palković in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Stipanovci Željezničar's goalie prevented a goal. Višeslav Berend took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vice Vrhovski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Stipanovci Željezničar's zone, Andrej Palković stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fran Mađarić came out of the goal and Andrej Palković tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Povratnici's Rueben Hughes got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute, Leon Mavrić left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Stipanovci Željezničar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Fran Mađarić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eduard Turčin in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrej Palković to make the kick off. Antonio Alić charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Alić the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Antonio Alić hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Leon Mavrić fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After 62 played minutes Povratnici got a freekick which was hit by Eduard Drljača. After 63 played minutes, Stipanovci Željezničar's Donat Uremović shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Višeslav Berend came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Stipanovci Željezničar reached it. Višeslav Berend showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frane Čiček in the 65th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Frane Čiček dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Višeslav Berend, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Palković in the 75th minute of play forced Stipanovci Željezničar's goalkeeper Fran Mađarić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Stipanovci Željezničar's goal looked a bit too open when Andrej Palković came free, but Fran Mađarić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Stipanovci Željezničar getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Predrag Žuko hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the game, Andrej Palković cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Fran Mađarić was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 95 played minutes Stipanovci Željezničar got a freekick which was hit by Vice Vrhovski.
