If Matko Balog had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matko Balog received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Roko Buvac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ilan Spindler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Roko Buvac made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matko Balog got free with Roko Buvac in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 27th minute, Gajić Zadrugar's Vilim Golubić seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Vilim Golubić the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Gajić Zadrugar protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Vilim Golubić had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Božo Cizelj's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ante Smalcelj read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Njegoš Radman in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ante Smalcelj prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st minute, Oto Pešorda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teofil Mrvelj could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Roko Buvac made a huge save. Ante Smalcelj showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oto Pešorda in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Njegoš Radman in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ante Smalcelj saved Gajić Zadrugar from getting behind. When Teofil Mrvelj came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Gajić Zadrugar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofil Mrvelj couldn't finish the play. In the 56th minute, Ilan Spindler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roko Buvac was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. With a little luck, Gajić Zadrugar's Ante Smalcelj got control of the ball when Njegoš Radman tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 64th minute, Njegoš Radman fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ante Smalcelj, passed just outside the right post. In the 65th minute, Gojko Dujmović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Donja Dubrava's Andro Isaković got a free kick in the 69th minute. Matko Balog took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roko Buvac. Roko Buvac dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 74th play minute Njegoš Radman came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ante Smalcelj. 2-2. In the 79th match minute, Donja Dubrava was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Božidar Kosanović to maneuver through the defense. Ilan Spindler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Roko Buvac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Donja Dubrava booed when Gajić Zadrugar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teofil Mrvelj didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Donja Dubrava's Ante Smalcelj threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Filip Horvatiček, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 89th minute Donja Dubrava were awarded a corner. Njegoš Radman went to the cornerflag to take it.
