The Wild Boys fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Wild Boys's Cristobal Markel looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Kristijan Čuljak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristobal Markel, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Kristijan Čuljak was a little too slow when Clemente Sancho got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 2-0. Maxim-Alexander De Spiegeleire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Wild Boys's Evlogi Piralkov got a free kick in the 27th minute. The supporters of Wild Boys booed when Leeds United AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dobroslav Vodanović didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kristijan Čuljak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Duje Juričin in the 34th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Leeds United AFC's zone, Clemente Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jadran Vuletić was the one to do the kick off. A beautiful save bye Leeds United AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Duje Juričin's late challenge caught a Leeds United AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
