In the 7th match minute, Wild Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tonino Štimac to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute, Andrej Palković got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduard Turčin got free with Claudinho Abraão in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Andrej Palković had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrej Palković in the 11th minute of play forced Wild Boys's goalkeeper Claudinho Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Povratnici's Višeslav Berend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristobal Markel in the 13th minute of play. Wild Boys's Cristobal Markel got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute Cristobal Markel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Višeslav Berend saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Abraão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andrej Palković, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Cristobal Markel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wild Boys's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristobal Markel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Višeslav Berend breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Povratnici were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Wild Boys's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fran Davidović took the corner. Andrej Palković hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Eduard Turčin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudinho Abraão having to interfere. Clemente Sancho took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Višeslav Berend. Višeslav Berend dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 43rd match minute, Wild Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patryk Harendarski to maneuver through the defense. Andrej Palković could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Claudinho Abraão made a huge save. In the 47th minute, Tonino Štimac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrej Palković to make the kick off. Clemente Sancho's late challenge caught a Povratnici's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Sancho helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Wild Boys's Clemente Sancho got a free kick in the 51st minute. With a little luck, Povratnici's Višeslav Berend got control of the ball when Cristobal Markel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Wild Boys's Duje Juričin got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 62 played minutes Wild Boys got a freekick which was hit by Patryk Harendarski. Wild Boys's Claudinho Abraão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fran Davidović in the 62nd minute of play. Jasenko Vucić replaced Cristobal Markel. 75 minutes into the match, Andrej Palković notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Wild Boys's Claudinho Abraão. Claudinho Abraão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 79 minutes into the game, Andrej Palković cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Claudinho Abraão was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eduard Drljača kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Wild Boys's Maxim-Alexander De Spiegeleire shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Višeslav Berend but with some difficulty. Urbano Javiero kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 85 minutes, Andrej Palković managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Povratnici's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrej Palković was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eduard Turčin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Claudinho Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Eduard Turčin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claudinho Abraão was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Eduard Turčin struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Claudinho Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Povratnici. Wild Boys's Jasenko Vucić was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The Wild Boys fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Wild Boys's Jasenko Vucić looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
