Wild Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastijan Sever was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 7 played minutes Wild Boys got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Markel. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maxim-Alexander De Spiegeleire in the 14th minute of play forced Jesenice's goalkeeper Cvjetko Paljar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the match, Jesenice's goal looked a bit too open when Cristobal Markel came free, but Cvjetko Paljar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Klement Munić fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jesenice's protests and gave Klement Munić a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Wild Boys booed when Jesenice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klement Munić didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cristobal Markel sped through Jesenice's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cvjetko Paljar. Cvjetko Paljar came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Wild Boys's Duje Juričin. But to his dismay, Duje Juričin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Cristobal Markel scored 1-4 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cvjetko Paljar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 31 minutes of play, Wild Boys's Duje Juričin made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cvjetko Paljar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cvjetko Paljar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duje Juričin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Časlav Plazibat hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 42 minutes into the match, Jesenice's goal looked a bit too open when Časlav Plazibat came free, but Cvjetko Paljar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ratko Kunić during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ratko Kunić kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cristobal Markel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cvjetko Paljar was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. In the 46th minute, Clemente Sancho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wild Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. After the first half Wild Boys were leading 1-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Cristobal Markel took a quick shot and it went in 1-9 without a chance for Cvjetko Paljar to make any attempt to save it. Jesenice's Cvjetko Paljar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Sancho in the 63rd minute of play. After 64 played minutes Jesenice got a freekick which was hit by Radoslav Prgomet. An unexpectedly hard shot by Časlav Plazibat in the 67th minute of play forced Jesenice's goalkeeper Cvjetko Paljar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 68 minutes into the match, Wild Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Ratko Kunić came free, but Claudinho Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Wild Boys booed when Jesenice was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matko Čuljat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesenice's Cvjetko Paljar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dado Komerički in the 87th minute of play. Cvjetko Paljar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jasenko Vucić in the 88th minute of play. Cvjetko Paljar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Javiero in the 89th minute of the match. In the 94th minute of the match, Dado Komerički tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cvjetko Paljar saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Wild Boys played a much better game than Jesenice and deserved their victory. The Jesenice players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
