But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Jušić couldn't finish the play. 8 minutes into the match, FK ORLOVI's goalkeeper Gabrijel Dragišić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Bandić. In the 9th minute Stjepko Staničić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabrijel Dragišić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rikard Salihović in the 12th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Clayton Zaragoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radimir Murgić in the 13th minute of play forced FK ORLOVI's goalkeeper Gabrijel Dragišić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Red Devils's Bermejo Olavarría seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Bermejo Olavarría the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Red Devils protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Bermejo Olavarría had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of FK ORLOVI booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bermejo Olavarría didn't get a good kick on the ball. Red Devils's Clayton Zaragoza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rikard Salihović in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Rikard Salihović shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clayton Zaragoza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FK ORLOVI's Gabrijel Dragišić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radimir Murgić in the 20th minute of play. Gabrijel Dragišić was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Radimir Murgić capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Radimir Murgić really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When Radimir Murgić fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Red Devils's protests and gave Radimir Murgić a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Radimir Murgić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfred Jušić sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Toni Bandić had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabrijel Dragišić. FK ORLOVI's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Toni Bandić was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Srđan Bregović hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Božo Ruklić kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Filip Pečnik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Alfred Jušić got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rikard Salihović stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zvonimir Kaurić hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, FK ORLOVI's goal looked a bit too open when Radimir Murgić came free, but Gabrijel Dragišić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomo Peti scored 3-0 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gabrijel Dragišić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gabrijel Dragišić came out of the goal and Zvonimir Kaurić tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clayton Zaragoza made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Rikard Salihović sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute Toni Bandić shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabrijel Dragišić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tomo Peti might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gabrijel Dragišić. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomo Peti ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabrijel Dragišić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toni Bandić, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Radimir Murgić managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Red Devils's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radimir Murgić was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. FK ORLOVI's Gabrijel Dragišić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Radimir Murgić in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Jušić came free, but Clayton Zaragoza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Radimir Murgić in the 93rd minute of play forced FK ORLOVI's goalkeeper Gabrijel Dragišić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfred Jušić in the 96th minute of play forced Red Devils's goalkeeper Clayton Zaragoza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Devils's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
